Spark: The Revolutionary New Science of Exercise and the Brain

Spark is a book about how exercise affects not just the physical aspects of the body, but also mental health and the capacity to learn.

If exercise came in pill form, it would be plastered across the front page, hailed as the blockbuster drug of the century.

I started this book in 2020 but got kinda bored reading it after a while – that’s not to say I didn’t like it, but just that I thought I would enjoy reading a different book more. Somebody recently made a summary of it on LessWrong. It seems like most of the book is the similar to the first couple of chapters.

I do think it helped keep me motivated to exercise though and made me think more about how exercise makes me feel, like [[Body By Science]]N.
